The primary responsibility of Director of Business Development, Channel Partnerships is to win new business and establish relationships with key personnel in the traditional media space.  The purpose of the GroundTruth’s Platform sales team is to understand the mobile needs of partners, develop strong partner relationships, be seen as an indispensable consultative mobile thought leader, and meet and exceed revenue expectations. This is an excellent opportunity to learn about mobile advertising while contributing to the growth of a unique, fast paced and dynamic team.



  • Close strategic partnership with media companies that leverage GroundTruth’s platform for mobile targeting and technology
  • Ensure partner Executive support and buy in
  • Develop and manage partner pipeline effectively
  • Research and stay ahead of the market, the client needs and gather competitive intelligence
  • Consistently achieve sales and revenue targets
  • Communicate needs of partners to Product and Engineering teams to build long-term valuable products


  • A strong will to win
  • Documented success in sales and/or partnerships
  • Business or marketing-related degree or equivalent
  • Mobile display advertising experience highly desired
  • 5+ years experience in sales experience working with channel partners
  • Relevant search, mobile, and advertising knowledge highly desired
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability and desire to work alone and as part of a team
  • Comfortable operating in fast paced environment
  • 25%+ travel required
