NEW YORK, September 10, 2018—GroundTruth, the leading location platform that leverages data and insights to drive business performance, today announced the appointment of two new hires to lead Consumer Packaged Goods and Shopper Marketing in their recently opened Bentonville, Arkansas office.
The GroundTruth Consumer Packaged Goods and Shopper Marketing team is led by Mark Fleisch, VP, Head of Industry, CPG. The company is putting more focus on Shopper Marketing this year and opened the Bentonville office to service the various clients and suppliers in the Northwest Arkansas market. GroundTruth hired Allisha Watkins and Rachel Bennington to spearhead Shopper Marketing efforts.

Watkins brings over 15 years of Marketing, Selling, Insights, and Strategy experience to her new role as Director, Shopper Marketing. Allisha will continue to serve as a Senior Executive Consultant for Simpactful and Amplify Retail Consulting, partnering with many CPG clients and retailers on Shopper Marketing, Ecommerce, Strategic Planning and Activation, Consumer and Shopper Insights and Public Speaking. Prior to her time at Simpactful and Amplify, Watkins was the Marketing Team Lead for Mars Wrigley Confectionery responsible for the entire brand portfolio from strategy to execution at Walmart Inc, Sam’s Club and Jet. Watkins received her MBA from John Brown University.
Prior to her role as Account Director at GroundTruth, Bennington worked in the sales and marketing space for more than 15 years. Most recently, she worked at Amplify Retail Consulting, where she built strategic marketing proposals for clients encompassing shopper, social, and eCommerce, managed in-house projects and PM database and conducted community outreach and opportunity strategy. She holds a BA in Marketing and Management from Kansas State University.
